Overview
Dublin Zoo is one of the country's leading tourist attractions, with an excellent display of Animals, big and small, timid and fierce, from around the world. The Zoo covers over 24 hectares of Phoenix Park in Dublin, one of Europe's largest urban parks, and welcomes nearly a million visitors through its gates. The Zoo has divided the park into different categories according to the species to be found within that particular area of the Zoo. Such categories are 'The World of Cats, 'The World of Primates' and the excellent African Plains.
